Terms & Conditions 

Price Increases

1.     Social Care Training Limited may revise prices as and when it deems appropriate.

2.     The Social Care Training Limited website, www.sc-training.com, stated price at the time of ordering is the definitive price at that time.

Certification:

1.     Certificates issued by Social Care Training Limited remain the property of Social Care Training Limited at all times.

2.     Where the holder of a current certificate is found guilty of an offence under pertinent legislation or has clearly reached the spirit of its intended purpose, the client agrees to return certification to Social Care Training Limited via Recorded Delivery. No refund for certification charges is due to the client.

Manuals and Materials:

1.     The client accepts that any Social Care Training Limited product or service supplied is site specific and for use by employees, volunteers etc. employed by the client from that site.

2.     The client accepts that they may not use any product or service supplied by Social Care Training Limited beyond the site to which it is licensed or registered.

3.     To use a Social Care Training Limited product or service beyond the licensed or registered site and/or not for use by employees, volunteers etc. employed by the client from that site is not permitted and constitutes a breach of use for which the client agrees to compensate Social Care Training Limited as Social Care Training Limited deems appropriate.

Shipping:

1.     The client accepts that Social Care Training Limited will not ship any order or certification until payment has cleared in full.

2.     The Social Care Training Limited intent to ship any card order accepted and processed by midday on a normal business day is a service goal and not a contractual commitment.

Copyright:

1.     The client accepts that reproduction in any way at anytime of any Social Care Training Limited product or material, except for its intended use at the registered or licensed site, is a breach of copyright for which the authorised and unauthorised users are both liable.

2.     The client agrees to compensate Social Care Training Limited for breach of copyright as determined by Social Care Training Limited as Social Care Training  Limited deems appropriate.

3.     Social Care Training Limited vigorously protects its copyright, intellectual and other rights.

Acceptance and Alterations:

1.     The client (purchaser) accepts these terms and conditions in full.

2.     These terms and conditions may not be altered in any way.

Value Added Tax (VAT):

1.     We are VAT registered, therefore we are obliged to charge VAT at the standard rate on all of our services. If the customer is also VAT registered, OR if the customer is a registered charity, then the customer can reclaim this VAT in the normal way. However we must charge it on all of our invoices

New Courses

Safeguarding Adults
This one day training day, designed exclusively for those working with or providing care to vulnerable adults, aims to develop an understanding of the different forms of abuse and introduce the notion of neglect. Developed around Department of Health’s guidance contained in "No Secrets".

Safe Working Practice for Adults who work in the Social Care / Education Sector

Social Care Training Ltd offers a one day course which is intended to supply all Adults who work with children and Adults guidance and building on knowledge about how allegations arise, and to support these adults by providing clear guidance about appropriate behaviours which if followed, can minimise the risk of allegations being made against them.

 

Safeguarding Adults

These are one day courses which aims to identify how to recognise child abuse and what action to take. It will also teach knowledge and recognition of signs and indicators of abuse; how to refer; the roles and functions of agencies; who does what in protecting children; good practice in working with parents
