Overview
Social Care Training Ltd offers a
one day course
The programme has been designed for staff
working in Educational Settings and Social Care sector,
prison and probation services. Within these services it
is for those whose roles bring them in contact with
children, young people and adults where an awareness of
children's use of ICT, the technology and the behaviour
of adults who seek to harm children will enable them to
contribute to the safeguarding of children and young
people more effectively
Learning objectives
By the end of the
training course participants will be able to:

understanding of how children and young people use
ICT

name the main areas
of risk to children and young people in their use of
ICT

identify the main
features of the legislation, guidance and procedures
relevant to safeguarding children and young people
within ICT

issues in relation to their work with children and
young people or adults.
